I didn't go to school today. I had a fever again this morning, and my eyes and insides were burning =_= Since there wasn't a test or a big project due today, I decided to stay home. But then Sharon told me they did course planning today. =/ Why do I always miss something when I'm away??

I feel alot better compared to yesterday =] My fevers gone down and I don't have this feeling that my head is really heavy. Best of all, I can talk clearly now =D !! Yesterday my voice was all raspy. I've learned now that if you have a fever, you have to drink lots of water, eat lots of food, drink soup, then wrap yourself in blankets and sleep. The point is to make yourself sweat and the fever will go away ^-^ But now I have a stuffy nose -____- It's the worst part.

I'm thinking about what to put into my finished tuques in the end, and how the heck we're supposed to deliver these to the homeless. I mean, I've been down town lots of times when I went to ballet, and I see people begging for money once in a while. But there's no way of knowing if they just needed money, faking, or really homeless! Well we could go up to them and ask like the girl last year, but the people she asked got pretty mad right? == at least if someone comes up to me and asks me that question, I'd be in utter shock.

I feel proud of myself for finishing my first tuque, and writing three science fair paragraphs today =D I don't feel like I'm procrastinating anymore! Oh wait theres still the other projects... but I'll handle them...
I didn't blog yesterday because my parents told me to sleep at 11 pm the latest, and I was rushing to get my work done before then. But today they were tutoring me on math until about 2 minutes ago.

Just realized I didn't blog yesterday so now I'm going to make up for it.

My hand was way better today than it had been last week, so I was able to test the rings part for gymnastics. If only the bruises would go away, then I can do all the support stuff. Sigh. I feel so left out when everyones just rushing to do all those parallel bars and uneven bars and pommel horse and all I can do is spot them...

So many projects due in the next few weeks, that I don't know what to do about. For example, there's science fair. I completely forgot how to write all those paragraphs, and I don't know if Ms. Jay is going to give us a criteria sheet, or it's the same as last year. Theres also two socials projects. Also no idea. My parents are ALSO nagging me about the math contest. They're making me do an hour of math everyday, plus my own school math homework. AND they're nagging me about a music festival/contest in April.

Just got home from my uncle's house for dinner. Now I'm very tired...

My parents took me to the doctor to check up on my hand to confirm that there aren't any broken bones. The doctor could have broken my hand even if it wasn't broken trying to feel if there were any cracks in them ._. It really hurt, like, alot, and I was trying not to scream while he squeezed the parts that were bruised. And the doctor told me to squeeze his hand. Obviously I can't use a lot of strength, so he was like "come on did you eat anything today?" Wow I came here to check for broken bones and he accuses me of having no strength in my hand? What do normal broken hand people do when he checks? I can't imagine.

But my hand survived intact. Phew.

I basically read and relaxed through the entire day today. I started reading Angels and Demons. It seems like a really good book. I also started writing some science fair paragraphs, but I forgot how to write them and what their structure is so I think I let my efforts go to waste.

Oh my gosh my hand is healling ^-^ I can hang on the rings in gymnastics now, but I just can't do a front support, and I am definitely not doing the straddle again == not until my hand is fully recovered. But because my left hand has been doing all the work these days, it's feeling really tired... now the work load is back to my right hand.

My hand still hurts alot. I can barely move it. How am I supposed to do gymnastics tomorrow? or write math test? or write IB exam? It's my right hand. I can't do anything... I fell on my wrist in gymnatics when it was bent in a really awkward way. It hurts sooo much right now, and it's very swollen == I can barely type this out. I could barely write today either. My mom suspects broken bones but I hope not!! The pre-Ib test is wednesday! How am I supposed to write that!?

I got my Pre-IB application package together today. Just got to remember to bring it to school and hand it in tomorrow =.= That's the hardest part. I went to a family friend's house to eat hot pot.

My friend took the synergy test on thursday. She said the supervisors were very loud and ran around the cafeteria... Wow... didn't leave a very good impression did they? I asked her if she remembered anyone who was supervising, and she said, "Well there was a really tall blonde hair dude, a very short person with glasses, and a not so short but still kind of short person with no glasses." Ha. funny.

I finished my science fair experiment as well as my Pre-IB 500 word biography today. Well I guess 500 word isn't really correct... I failed to cut down my words... my biography is nearing 600 words... oh well. I hope they don't mind. Do they actually go into the process of counting out every single one of the words for every single one of the application forms? I doubt it.

Today was okay. Except for two things. The assembly made me miss half of my PE class, the best class in my opinion (I like applied skills too, just PE better X] ) AND all the Synergy people were excluded from the honor role and the principal's list COMPLETELY! WHY? Made me feel so left out =_= When the honor role power point thing finished, all the synergy people in my seating area were all like "WHAAAAT?!?!" meh... oh well... no wonder grade nine had the least people that made the honor role.

Why doesn't anyone believe that I'm actually not that quiet? Believe it or not my friends consider me talkative. I just prefer to keep quiet in a classroom environment that is all T^T I just hate it when a certain someone keeps on saying "OMG YOU TALK!!" Everytime I make a sound. It gets annoying.

I made an attempt to finish my science experiment today... an attempt... that failed. I'll have to redo somthing because my data was some how strangely off. I'll wake up early tomorrow to do it. Finally finished my applied skills thing. I think I incorporated some bloom... I think. That took most of my day. I still need to do a lot of stuff. The word I'm assigned for English project was very hard to understand. I spent so much time just trying figure out what it means. And I still have the 500 word Pre-IB application biography to write.

Great. A week and I've only finished half of my science fair experiment. I was planning to finish it this week. I can't do it all tomorrow! I don't even have enough ice cubes (it takes time to freeze the amount of ice cubes that I need)! GRRR... Okay never mind I guess I'll have to finish my science fair experiment on the weekends because my experiment is very time consuming.

I went to the IB/Pre-IB info night, and to be honest that presentation the guy gave us scares me slightly.

#1 He said we will be writing lots and lots and lots and lots an lots of essays... English is one of my worst subjects, and essays? Not my thing
#2 He listed all the skills needed to succeed, and it was all good until it came down to time management -__-''' Me (and most other people I know)------> Procrastinators unite!...tomorrow...
#3 University level learning and stuff like that... scares me.


But I'm still trying out =] I hope I can use this pre-IB thing as a chance to get my time management right and correct some of my bad habits, and then I'll decide if I can stand this type of intense learning >_<

Ms. Jay approved my science fair topic (YESS) I was going to start today but I failed to find a proper digital thermometer in Super Store == My dad is going to get one in Canadian Tire tomorrow, and hopefull I can start then.
I also bought candy at SuperStore =D It's those coke gummy candy things. We're going to distribute it for our English project. Hopefull that will get us higher marks ^-^ (The class evaluates the presenters)

I'm in a really bad mood today. I had to spend 3 hours picking a new science fair topic because I can't find glucose strips that measured accurately and could be used on fruits. The blood glucose monitors measured precisely, but, according to the pharmacy lady, responds to nothing but blood.

I'm feeling like I don't have enough time. Why can't we have 30 hours in a day instead of 24? That way I'll have 6 more hours to do stuff, and have enough time to do homework... But knowing me I would probably just spend the 6 hours being lazy. I always feel like I'm running out of time these days!
