T2B7

Just finished my homework
We started square dancing unit in PE... D= It's the most awful thing. Why can't we have one full term of basketball, one whole term of gymnastics, and one full term of track and field? That would be the perfect year...

Worried about English... tired... legs ache... yay bed and sleep here I come

T2B6

My aunt got tickets to listen to Vancouver Symphony Orchestra play at the Orpheum from work, so we all went today. I didn't want to go considering the homework load but my mom dragged me there, saying I should listen to how perfessional violinists play. I don't like just listening to classical music in a giant theater with nothing to do, because I find it really boring. The music was nice don't get me wrong. So I just rested my head on my hand and tried to sleep. But I couldn't because once in a while the violins would go BUM BUM really loudly and I would jerk awake again. But we had a break in between to two hours which was good (and which I took my cousins to the bathroom). The people in the orchestra all play really good! (I listened to most of it) I hope I can join them some day (like maybe 5-10 years later =.=).

T2B5

Started homework at 8 pm today. I'm trying to finish the day 2 homework today and day 1 tomorrow (Why did the pro-D on friday count as a day 1? Most schools I know of have a pro-D on that day too)

I went to the public library today to get a new library card (the adult one) so I could renew all my books and borrow new books. I have to get back on track with the applied skills presentation. I still have to figure out how to apply the bloom things. But first of all I'll write all the facts in my presentation, and then I'll see what I can do...

T2B4

I made the mistake of going to see the Harry Potter movie today -__- I thought the most the movie was going to show was 2:30 hours, but with the commercials added in, it was almost 3 hours... and when I got home my mom was really mad. (my friends dragged me there early too to buy things to eat) Mom: OMG it's not everyday you stay home and finish your homework, and you took all that time to go watch a movie?! Blah blah blah blah...
And yea I regret it cuz I could have stayed home and finished my theory, played violin, and avoided being spazzed at for 20 mins.

But on the other hand, the movie was pretty good =D It was really humorous. There were places that something happens like, to build the suspense, first there's silence and then.... BOOM! something happens. Well they do this suspense building so well that when what ever happens happens, it's probably enough to give old people heart attacks. But the movie was good over all, and I'm waiting for the final movie! Except it's out in the summer so I wouldn't have to risk leaving behind homework to go to the theater.

T2B3

Tired... like really tired today. I almost fell asleep in class (I WAS trying hard to pay attention =[
I'm going to watch the newest Harry Potter movie tomorrow morning with my friends. =D I hope it's better than the previous movie, which was somewhat of a disappointment (But I'm still a huge fan of the books!)

I just realized how short time we have before winter break, and how many homework needs to be done... I really have to get started!

T2B2

My dad ordered a new desktop and it arrived yesterday. So happy because it is way faster than my previous computer which lags on fooreeeeeeeevveeeerrr (my old one was windows 2000) But I am also a bit unfamiliar with the layout of things on this new computer, but I'll get used to it =] I gotta get caught up with technology here.

Got home late again today (I don't even have to mention why anymore), and started homework at 9:00 pm, and now I'm expecting a looong night (which is bad since I'm recording my sleeping hours for a foods assignment =.=) I just hope it snows so much tomorrow school is cancelled and I can catch up on all the much needed sleep. I also want more time to read. I looove the feeling of getting into a book ^-^ And I am anticipating watching the seventh Harry Potter movie with my friends soon!

T2B1

I should really start numbering my blogs in the title. I mean I forget to put it at the end of my blog everytime. But good thing I only started blogging in September so I only have to add up my blog count in september, october and novemeber, with out going to each page and counting each one.
We were talking about identity and how to define what identity of an individual is. So we were supposed to come up with two social identities that we each have and one personal identity in class, and Mr. Hauk pointed to me to say my three identities. I said my two social identities to be two of the extra curricular classes I take, but when he asked me for the identity that makes me unique (such as some weird thing about yourself) I was totally out of ideas. I mean, theres nothing about me that is weird yet one of a kind (but I definitely do a lot of weird things thats for sure...) This got me thinking... what makes me different from everyone else?

Monday, November 22, 2010

ACK! I stayed up so late finishing my french comic strip thing, and found out at school that it wasn't due today =.=''' I could have gotten 2 more hours of precious sleep... and written a blog yesterday.

I can't believe term one is almost over already! I don't even pay attention to time anymore. I only focus on trying to make it through each week. For example, I didn't even know my birthday was coming up a few weeks ago until one of my friends reminded me. I just want to get this year over with so I don't have to go to ballet anymore, so I can spend way more time on my homework. But the problem is I still have to exercise... I'll ask Jamie how she gets the willpower to get out there and jog a few times a week.

Ouch... I don't know how I hurt myself today but I just did. It's somewhere around the muscles around my right shoulder blade. It's like I tore it mildly or something, but I just don't know where it came from o.O I went to my PE class after the assembly and only played basketball for 10 mins, and then after it just randomly started hurting. Right now it hurts when ever I tip my head or move my shoulders.

This isn't just the only injury I don't know where I got it. There are also multiple bruises that just appear randomly on my knee o.o weird.
Yesterday I was so tired I couldn't remember anything after I climbed into bed, which most likely means I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I forgot to print out the me to we form thing == good thing I was still able to go. I just went and told the teacher. I'll probably still be marked absent though... I hope this kind of thing only happens to me once -__- I usually get field trip forms in on time, but I don't know what happened here. Probably so many things were happening that just slipped out of my mind...

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Gosh I'll probably have to cancel violin class again this week =.= I only have time to practice tomorrow, and that's basically it for the week...

Today as I exited the ballet place (which is on the edge-ish of downtown) with my friend, I saw a senior dancer, who dances pretty well... smoking and talking to a guy who is also smoking... I felt so sad then, because she was a really good dancer, and I thought that all of those senior dancers were all so talented and will go pretty far, but she was smoking... she doesn't look any older than 17. I don't know how to explain. I was shocked, but suddenly I also felt sad.... I kept on glancing back as I couldn't believe it. I mean, my impression of anyone who is good at what they're doing, must have a very good reputation as well...

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Gah so tired... finally finished my English homework... I guess I'm gonna squish all my homework due in the next few days on to tomorrow (oh shoot I have lessons tomorrow too ==). I'm sooo tired! And to think there is three more years of this.... except it gets worse...

Monday, November 15, 2010

I was at ballet today from 4:30-8:00 pm today -___- I am totally quitting after Christmas. I had to bring my science text book there to study while I waited for my turn to go rehearse and stuff. But even so, after I got back, I still have tons to do! I had to study MORE for my science test, and it just some how seems to get more confusing after each time I attempt to study... How does that work?

I have to stay there until 8pm again tomorrow...
Yeah I realized I didn't blog yesterday. I didn't bother climbing out of bed and turning on the computer after I came to realize that fact. Yesterday I had the most painful experience on pointe shoes (ballet). We were rehearsing for nutcracker, and I was one of the people who were supposed to run every where on pointe, and I don't know why, but yesterday it hurt so much! My blister on my toe broke and my toes felt like they were... I don't know how to describe it... It feels much better today, but I have to do the same tomorrow...

Saturday, November 13, 2010

Today my uncle's family came to celebrate my birthday. I don't know, but my cousins (both of them) grow naughtier by the second, no joke. The younger one is really impolite (I know she is probably too young to say so, but she used to be way nicer), and the older one (like 10 or so) doesn't listen to my uncle or aunt a lot (He listens to me though). He's grade four. He's swearing... I sooo don't get him. He thinks it's cool... I haven't sworn at all in my life so I really find it annoying =.="

Back on topic. We had mango cake today =D It was delicious! My aunt gave me a necklace with a really cute mouse pendant, and my cousin wrote me a card. Today was really fun =]
I mostly read through the whole day on Friday, did some theory, and played violin. I have to say I'm pretty behind on books these days. Way back then people used to say if you read this book or that book, and I would usually know all those books, but I stopped reading for a while... and now when people talk about books I have no idea what they're talking about.

Thursday, November 11, 2010

I got an iPod touch today =O I never thought my parents would get me one for my birthday... But I can only listen to music on it because my dad says it's dangerous to give his bank account info and stuff, which is what you need to do to download apps, even if it's free... Oh well good enough for me =D

Well today was a very relaxing day... I wish every day could be like this, but too bad cuz I have got plenty to do this weekend, and I am planning to finish it all (well most of it) tomorrow. Next week will be really busy for me because I've got ballet from 4-9 pm on Monday and Tuesday... Don't I just love this schedule?

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

We got the shots today. Most people say it doesn't hurt at all for some reason o.O My shoulder is still a bit sore right now. Is there something wrong with me?? Well some people feel faint and stuff, or get head aches but I never do, but it's just sore... Maybe it's the way the person gave the shots jabbed it in... How I was given the shot:

lady: okay so you have no allergies to any medication right?
me: no
lady: okay *prepares needle* now wiggle your toes for me and relax please...
me: *wiggles my toes wondering why she's telling me to do this before suddenly... JABS IN THE SUPER POINTY NEEDLE*
me: (outside).................................... *pretends I'm fine* (inside) OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW........

or maybe it's just my problem

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

Yesterday I spent a looooongg time working on the english essay, sighed in relief after I finished, only to start panicking again when people reminded me that we were presenting tomorrow... sigh...

Sunday, November 7, 2010

I spent most of my day at the ballet studio and drawing class, except for a few hours in the morning and after 8:00. And I spent those hours doing math. I don't really feel like I accomplished much today, and I am sure planning to spend a long night doing homework tomorrow... And I'm tired.
I went to the oakridge library yesterday and borrowed a few books on electromagnetism and one book to read for fun (but now I doubt I'll ever get to that book) I cited an encyclopedia and now I finally have five different sources =D I'll just have to put my bibliography together.... and finish the majority of my power point...

Saturday, November 6, 2010

AAARRGG I NEED DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOURCES! I borrowed a video to view at home, and after I viewed it I couldn't cite it because there is nothing on the tape that has it's date of creation or something!!! I only have three different sources so far!! And is the encyclopedia and book count as same or different sources? And what if I cited the encyclopedia in the manner of a book? Does it still count as a different source? And what if I interviewed my dad about electromagnetism cuz he knew quite a lot about it? Does it count even though it wasn't from a university professor? And if it does count, what will I write for the location of interview? My home address?? I AM SO CONFUSED!!!

And to add to that we have an English essay due Tuesday that I don't know how to do, an apparently major French test, AND a PE test all at the beginning of next week!!!! T^T Aaaannd I still need to figure out a science fair topic................ AND I HAVE BALLET AND DRAWING CLASS FOR THE WHOLE DAY TOMORROW!!!

To continue my TYKTW day story...

So as I was saying, we repakaged calenders. It was also the manager's birthday so we got free ice cream cake! =D yum... Afterwards we went down stairs for a tour of the bank. We got to listen to someone talk about how they prevent robbery around here. They showed us a fake batch of money with a dye bomb hidden inside! They also said some banks hide tracking devices, or gps, so the robber should be caught within 20 min of the the robbery. Then we each got assigned to a teller (those people at the computers helping people or something like that) to see how they helped the clients. My person showed me how to put cheque in to people's accounts, how to put money in to their account, and how to get money out of the cash machine. After that we basically had nothing to do, so my friend's mom made us sort out A WHOLE GIANT BOX OF PAPER into slots by people's name (mail distribution). It was so tedious and repetitive == Until we were given this job I had actually thought about working there some day. But it's mostly we have to look for the name on the slots, but I bet it's a breeze for my friend's mom because she basically memorized where every single slot is.

Well it was fun, and I learned a lot of new stuff. Afterwards my friends went shopping and I headed home.

Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Take-your-kids-to-work day (tyktw abbreviated) was fun and tedious at the same time. I went to my friend Alina's mom's work place, along with three other friends (yea we were a big pack). First thing we did when we got there, was taking a tour around the working quarters of the TD Waterhouse tower, and look and see who works in each office. Then we got put to do our first job: repackaging some TD Bank calenders. I was the one who cut the packaging open, and then I would give it to my friend who would tape a tag on to the calender, and then she would give it to my other friend who would tape the package shut again, and then she would pass it onto the final person who puts all the packages into a giant cardboard box. That went on for a while (we had to repackage to whole boxes of calenders...) but that part was actually pretty fun because we got to talk and laugh and we had a box of candy on the table to keep us going =D

...to be continued tomorrow. I'm way too tired now. I was supposed to wake up at 7:00 today and leave for Alina's mom's work with a friend at 7:30, but my dad woke me up at 7:20... you won't believe how fast I jumped out of my bed.

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

We went to science world today, and I finally got to see a real brain =D Everything in the gallery is so cool, especially the real human embryos and fetuses! They are all so incredibly delicate! And to think we were all once like that... The only things I found cool but a little... awkward to look at were two corpses, which have been split up in very weird ways. There was one named the X-Lady (the only corpse of the two who's name I remember), which was a person split at the chest (showing its inner organs), crossed legs, it's hands holding it's hips which have been split as well (showing the ball and socket joints), and it's face spit into multiple sections. I don't know, but I am pretty sure who ever that corpse was from, did NOT want to end up in THAT pose. Maybe it's just me, but I certainly wouldn't want to. It did show me a lot about the human body, like how its facial muscles worked and stuff, but I was just thinking from the perspective of the corpse...

Monday, November 1, 2010

I got home and ate a bunch of candy today =D I probably gained a few 1/10 of a pound! Except I probably lost all that weight I gained from ballet == Now I am tired. Sigh. I wish candy could keep you hyper forever.

I don't really like using Google presentation. It has a waaay less variety of fonts to choose from, and I'm just not used to it because I usually always use power point on word. I'm not using prezi because I've not touched in my life and it looks pretty complicated.
