Got to Play :D Again :DD

My uncle came over to play today along with my two cousins. Davis, the older one, brought his table hockey set over, so we played that. The three year old girl, Daphne, was clinging to my uncle's leg since the moment they arrived to just before supper, when she started watching TV. She usually isn't that shy... And then she started playing with us. She made me swing her around and around. At supper, Davis didn't eat properly, so my uncle got really annoyed. He said, "Can you please get me a coat hanger?" to me, and when my cousin heard this, he immediately said, "Oh god" and quickly sat back in his seat. I realised a coat hanger is usually what my uncle scares him with :D But he got out of control again after -_-

I managed to get the fruits I needed for my English project, but I am missing wheat, and I need to practice my script. Other wise, I am all ready to go for the presentation on Wednesday!

Got to Play :D

Well I'm blogging late because we went to a neighbour/friends house. They were going to give my parents something and we decided to stay afterwards. I played with Renee, a girl who is two years younger than me, and her grade one-ish brother. First we played Monopoly, then we got really bored of it because it takes forever. Then we played this other game she has called "The Wheel of Fortune" where you have to spin a wheel and guess what letters are in a phrase. This time her brother got bored and opened the computer. We stole the computer from him (well you can't say stole because he let us) and Renee showed me some computer games that she plays, which all are in a document, and not on the internet. It was fun, but my dad is mad at me for writing a blog at this time!

planning feels good

Not bad today. I didn't get mixed up with the rotations. I get an advantage of not being late because the science classroom is almost right next to my locker. I got really messed up at home though. The thought of TWO projects (science fair and english god/goddess presentation) are all due really close together (one next week and one the week after that). Thankfully my mom saved me by telling me to plan it out. I did that on my white board what days I am going to do what, and I actually have enough, or even a little extra time! I finished my duty for today, and feel much more organised.

For applied skills today, the substitute read out what he thought was our schedual today. He said we were working on our perspective drawings... -_-^ Everyone was like "...what...?" and they all started talking at once. The teacher said, "wait let me finish giving the instructions" and then the guy that always comes around to help told the sub that he was reading out the wrong class.

rotation change

Today was block rotation change. Well it's a good thing I didn't get messed up. I everything about this rotation until the last period of day 2: Math. Usually I get so bored in math, that I would just fall asleep if the teacher wasn't looking. Today, I was pretty sure I yawned every ten seconds during the lesson. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, it's just I almost can't keep my eyes open (well maybe not THAT bad, but it was bad). I was glad when the substitude gave us homework, because I finally had something to do. I finished the homework in like three minutes, and got bored again. It was good enough I didn't drift off into space... though I very much would like to.

Yessss

I finally wrote two more paragraphs for science fair. I am taking a long time at this.

I didn't get to knit today... which is sad. I don't think I am trying hard enough this term. My marks always goes in a pattern. In term one, I try really hard because I don't know the expectations for this year. In term two, I try not that hard anymore for some reason (like I am tired or something, and it gets harder). And in term three, I try even less because I am REALLY tired. But my marks don't go down THAT much. Only one less A, but I guess that is alot. I have got to stay in shape!!

wasting time

I went to ballet class today and it was such a waste of time. Me and some of the others just stood there watching the others dance. The teacher didn't tell us that some of the better people were going to practice some other dances because a performance was coming up. So we just stood there and waited for an hour until our parents came before they told us. I could of stayed home and knit :( Too bad I can't type out another science fair paragraph because my dad is spazing about me staying up "so late" again. I am soooo behind! I think some people are finished already! I am going to do alot alot alot tomorrow, I swear!

I. DON'T. WANT. TO. SWIM!!!!

Oh my god I am forgetting to blog these days! I am blogging now to make sure I don't forget again. I just found out how to switch the colour of yarn without making a huge knot. I searched it up on youtube. I hope the colours are going to go with each other!

My mom is making me go and learn swimming! I don't want to go! She says everyone has to learn swimming. It's like she thinks I am going to drown some day -_- I don't want to go! I am going to be in a class with little kids. And she doesn't want me to go learn what I like such as badminton, and she thinks I have to do exactly what she says >:( I am so mad!

Oops

I forgot to do a humour blog yesterday. Well, how do I think the movie is funny... I don't think I think the movie is my sense of humour type. All it did was get me kind of tense because the guy was doing all of these weird things to ruin the lady's house, and then I guess it was funny how the lady reacted to these events. I didn't really get the movie though. I have watched the cartoon Pink Panther (well not really. All I did was sit there half falling asleep while my cousin watched it), but apparently the Pink Panther in the movie was a... dimond? I liked the parts when the guy that always makes mistakes, and it's funny how he gets away with all of it.

science fair! less than a month!

Some of my mom's friends came over yesterday. They had two boys with them, and they played PSP in my room. They totally messed up my bed and table. I got so angry...

I got so nervous after I found out we only had little less than a month, which is little less than 31 days to get my science fair project done! I have only finished typing out the abstract! The only thing that calms me down after I get so tense like this, is the thought that mostly everyone isn't that far yet, and some didn't start experimenting yet. I know it isn't right to compare, but I only do that to calm myself down. I had better start typing some other paragraphs out though, since I schedualed this week to do so. I don't have that much data to write, so maybe I'll just make my title take up half the page...

Watching 2012

I forgot to blog yesterday. Right now, my parents are watching 2012, and it's scary! The Earth's crust moved like a wave in there, and millions of people are dying in every continent. I don't really want to have nightmares, so I gave up watching and came to write my blog. I haven't really done any homework on the weekend, so I am going to wake up extra early tomorrow to study. We're having a guest tomorrow afternoon so I don't expect to get much work done then. I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows for the third time, and I am ready for the book test!

Tired

Yawn... I almost forgot about blogging since I spent the whole day reading and doing a French project. I am aiming to finish this Harry Potter book by Monday, and have my knitting done at most by the end of next week. I find that I may be faster than some, but very behind when compared to some of the others. I spent half of this Applied Skills period trying to untie knots in a ball of yarn for my friend. We were watching a Pink Panther movie, but I barely payed any attention. I'll go to bed now...

A cool presentation

I finally finished all that English homework. Now I am reading social studies over and over again in case there is going to be a quiz tomorrow. I am going to have to wake up early tomorrow again because I think I left my book in the French classroom and I am going to get it in the morning.

Today, we heard a presentation about autism, and we got to experience how it felt to have autism. We got glasses that see rainbow, and my friends wondered how they know that autistic people see these colours. I mean, if you asked them what they saw, they aren't going to just answer, "I see rainbow..." The presentation was pretty cool, and we got to see the animation work of someone with autism, which was done so nicely!

Working on science fair

Now I feel a little better towards science fair. I finished one of the things I was supposed to write, and hopefully I will be okay. I spent most of today reading, studying French, and knitting. I hope I can finish the scarves in time! Some people are already on their third, and I am still a little more than half way through mine. My yarn is a bit rough and stiff, and isn't really that nice to the touch. My yarn at home is better, but I don't want to use it :D I like to save the best for last. I'm a weird person that way... like how I eat pizza from the crust because I like the cheese... but anyways. I just really hope my science fair project can turn out okay. I am not liking the mark I am getting in science these days.

today

My mom bought yarn home from near her work place. They are all so pretty, but the only problem was that I can't knit a whole scarf unless I combine alll of the yarn together, which is not going to be a pretty sight. The good thing is she says she can buy more :D

I can't believe we're having a french test this wednesday, when I only got the vocabulary sheet for four days! The others got it for the whole break, and it's so not fair. I only remember less than half right now. And I can't believe that I actually forgot my french binder at home today. But thankfully we had no homework due.

Science fair project

I finally got my science fair display board today. It has a black background. In grade six, when I did the heritage fair, our display boards were white, and our teacher made us spray paint it. I spray painted mine gold, and messed up alot, so I am not planning to do that again. It is within the required size for the height, but 1.9 cm too wide :( But no one would notice right? I mean I don't see judges going around with metre sticks. Oh yeah. The size is printed on the back side of the display board. I'm doomed. I don't like how there's a giant Office Depot sign printed on the back side as well. It ruins the scientific image. I'm planning to sort out my data this week (but it's not like there's alot) and start typing it out and putting it on the board next week. Hopefully I have enough time!

Piano?

I've knitted half of a metre of scarf so far. I have estimated that one metre of scarf is enough to wrap around my neck two times.

In violin class today, my teacher suggested me take piano as well, because in order to test for the performance or teacher level after level ten, I needed piano skills. I wanted to. I want to take piano more than violin! But my mom says that we have no place to put a piano, even though I pointed out several spaces already.
One of my mom's friends and her family is coming over today to eat dumplings. I'm really bored and I can't wait to get some company!

Basketball

Some of my friends came over today. Amazingly, I managed to concentrate and finish my homework over their racket. Now all I have left is violin.

We watched the basketball game today for the last two periods. I was chatting and laughing with my friends. It wasn't as boring as some of the other people said it was. Obviously because I was talking, and because the basketball game itself isn't that boring as well. We watched Churchill play, and the girls and boys team powned the other teams sooo badly. One of the scores was like 40 something to around 12. We bought some popcorn and chips. It was fun. And plus I managed to knit quite a lot of rows!

Knitting

I've been knitting a lot today. I think knitting is fun! I've knitted before, but always quit after a while. And then I would start again when ever I think about it and have time. So I would always forget how to knit but have a faint idea. Every time I'm reminded again, it would be just like I never forgot. I am already starting to get a blister on my index finger on my left hand. Now my scarf's gotten to a rectangle. At least it is now longer than it is wide! I like the color of yarn that I have. It looks good and is quite soft. I feel sorry for my friend who has to use the yarn that looks and feels like dried grass. When Mr. Olson tried to teach us how to knit, the looks on the faces on some boys was hilarious. You could tell that they had no clue of what just happened :D

Tomorrow

I don't really recall what we need for applied skills tomorrow. I have the knitting needles and I think we need some... hook? Oh well. And my ball of yarn isn't exactly grape fruit size either. It's the size of a "small" orange. I wonder if tomorrow is going to be as homework free as yesterday.

I bought the tickets to the basketball game on thursday, mainly because my friends are going. If they weren't I would rather go to the classes in the afternoon because P.E and fine arts are my favorite. I'm probably just going to chat with my friends. I almost fell asleep in math today, mainly because I woke up at four today and couldn't go back to sleep. I've still got my sleeping time messed up from China.

Not much work

Well it wasn't so bad. We watched a movie for English and wound yarn into a ball for applied skills. And then we did this geography challenge or something for socials. It didn't count for marks, but it was this contest to choose the best in the class to represent our class for another contest or something. And we did work in science. The only thing that went wrong, was that I forgot my science homework at home today. My socials test is tomorrow at lunch, and so I have to study more tonight! I'm not very sure of exactly what to study though.

Start of School Tomorrow

I am worried for my socials test. Though I still don't really know when I am supposed to do it. Now I am working on the new science homework that my friend just gave me... And now I am finished! And I still have English journal to finish... I'd rather have stayed here until the end of break. All my friends think I'm so lucky.

Today, I went to drawing class, and found nobody at the normal place we draw.Then we phoned my drawing teacher and found out that we switched places! Why did nobody tell me! My drawing teacher rented a room to teach, instead of teaching at her own house. I've missed a lot haven't I. I've bought some presents for my friends, but I don't think I have time to sort it out today. I didn't really have a specific present to give for anyone when I went to shop with my parents. I just bought what ever looked nice. I might not have enough, or I might even have extras.

Today, I woke up very early to go to violin class, and found out that I got a lot wrong on my theory -_-. My friend came to do an experiment on me for science fair. She was supposed to experiment with 20 people, but she's only got 5 so far, including me. She also brought some other science homework. sigh. I only just finished my other science thing.

Right now, my mom and dad are out buying a dining table. We've been doing without one for quite a while. I've been eating at the computer table. Or should I say we haven't had a proper meal at home since we moved.

I got my report card buy mail. I don't know when it arrived, but we found it in the piles of mail when we got back. I was a little surprised at it! It was different than I expected. And I got an honor role too. Yay me!

make up post

Yesterday, I meant to have a nap in the afternoon, but I slept all the way to 9:00 pm. I was so tired! I still haven't gotten my normal sleeping time back. Yesterday was a normal day. It was new years, but we didn't really celebrate. We were supposed to eat with my cousins, but apparently my aunt had to work and she had the car so they couldn't go anywhere. I also got a little stomach ache.
